file 10 contains families in or near Shelburne, MA.  Not all these families are related.  Many are related to the author.

file 11 contains direct descendants of William Merrill c.1550 of Warwickshire, England, and their spouses.  The data were provided to Deane Merrill by Mary Merrill Ragusa and Martha Merrill Varvis.  This is NOT my line of Merrills.  My line, which is listed in A Merrill Memorial, descends from Thomas Meryell b.1444 of Wherstead, Suffolk, England.  Files 11c and (11d,11e,11f) were created in August 2010 and August 2012 respectively. Questions should be directed to Mary Merrill Ragusa.

* The immigrants Richard Merrill c.1641 and William Merrell c.1652 are closely related but probably not brothers.  Richard Merrill c.1641 is believed to be a great-grandson of William Merrill c.1550.

File 11e: direct descendants of William Merrell c.1652.
File 11f: files 11d and 11e, combined but unconnected.Merrill/Merrell spelling differences are not meaningful.  Early ancestors changed the spelling frequently.
