In Windows95, the problem is specific to "File/Mail Document." There is no problem with "File/Print" or "File/Save As...".

Workaround: use "File" and "Save As...". Use the buttons at the top of the "Save As..." window to specify the file location. Then use "File" and "New Mail Message". At "Mail To: enter your Internet address. Then use "Attach," "Attach File...", click on the file location, "Open", "As Is", "OK", "Send." Enter a subject, and "OK". The file will be delivered unchanged to your Internet address. Whether tabs are converted to spaces depends on the program which receives your e-mail.
