LOOKUP - example # 1

1. Return to the LOOKUP home page.
2. Select any one of the LOOKUP servers listed in the first three lines.
3. Select "STF3A". The Current Level is "State".
4. Select "Go to level State--Place", and select one state, e.g. Rhode Island, then press "Submit". Wait for the list of all places in Rhode Island.
5. Select (at least) one place, e.g. Providence city, then press "Submit".
6. On the next screen, "Choose TABLES" is selected. Press "Submit". Wait for the list of Tables.
7. Select (at least) one table, e.g. "P1. PERSONS", then press "Submit".
8. On the next screen, HTML format is selected. Press "Submit" again. Wait a few seconds for the result. The 1990 Census population of Providence is 160728.
9. Use the options of your particular browser to e-mail the output to yourself.
10. Use the options of your particular Web browser to save the output as a file.
