LOOKUP - example #2

1. Return to the LOOKUP home page.
2. Select any one of the LOOKUP servers listed in the first three lines.
3. Select "STF3A". The Current Level is "State".
4. Make sure that you can select more than one state. Also make sure you can erase a state selection by clicking on it again. Also make sure that you can select or unselect a state from any column. (With X Windows, click the mouse; with a Mac, press the command key while clicking the mouse; with a PC, press "Ctrl" while clicking the mouse.) Select two states: Alabama and Alaska; then press Submit.
5. On the next screen, "Choose TABLES" is selected. Press "Submit". Wait for the list of Tables.
6. Select (at least) one Table, e.g. "P1. PERSONS", then press "Submit".
7. On the next screen, HTML format is selected. Press "Submit" again. Wait a few seconds for the result. The 1990 Census population of Alabama and Alaska are 4,040,587 and 550,043 respectively.
8. Use the options of your particular browser to e-mail the output to yourself.
9. Use the options of your particular Web browser to save the output as a file.
