1. An analysis by Ray Banks in April 2007 compared 87 G Haplotype males having the same 67 markers.  Only the 30 slowest markers were used, to depict the most accurate available time relationships.

2. A previous analysis in October 2006 compared 245 G Haplotype males having the same 37 markers, mostly of European ancestry.

3. An earlier analysis in Spring 2006 compared 1521 G Haplotype males having a smaller number of markers.  Banks cautions that "Recent discoveries of new SNPs that define groupings of G persons have caused a need to re-categorize persons more precisely than listed [in his report].   The commentary ... will be revised in the near future."
