  1. about 1840-1850: Whittlesea, England. Home of James Tinsley (1765-1821) and his wife Jane Willsh (Tinsley) (1770-1852). James and Jane's butcher shop is adjacent to the home. Their son William Tinsley (1805-1883) lived here until he emigrated to America with his two-year-old son William T. Tinsley (1833-1893) in 1835.
