While the Census Bureau does not develop estimates for block groups, we do however prepare county estimates. You will find the 1994 estimates by accessing the Population & Housing Entry from our HOME PAGE http://www.census.gov or from our anonymous ftp site ftp.census.gov://pub/population/estimates/county/ .

The Census Bureau does engage in intercensal population estimates at the county level. Generally the program kicks in around the middle or so part of the decade, and is part of the Current Population Reports P-25 series. Poke around in the Population directory to get a feel for the 1994 and prior county estimates. The Population Division's Statistical Information staff, 301-457-2422, can update you on the newer series .... R-
