tape processing

• current status (updated weekly)

• (9/2/94) Updated WWW documentation of tape processing status. Of 2000 tapes, 1000 have been processed (archived to MSS) with a 70-80 percent success rate. Of the remaining 1000, 500 have been preprocessed to determine their exact format.

• (9/25/94) Began recording with BLKSIZE and LRECL for each data file of SLNF tapes.

software development

• (9/23/94) Began developing software to translate and unblock the data file of SL1F tapes.
