Task 1: file merrill1.txt and merrill.xls

(159*8=1272) inactive tapes from Federal Records Center

Task 1: 159 boxes of INACTIVE tapes (8 per box) (159*8=1272) from Federal Records Center. These tapes (boxes dm001-dm159) were shipped to Nor-Cal in May 1997. A duplicate copy is with the yellow spiral notebook in a folder "SEEDIS-data-tapes-FRC".

Task 2: file newdean.txt and newdean.xls

(117*17=1989) active tapes from LBL tape library

The 117 boxes of ACTIVE tapes (boxes 558043-558159) were shipped to Nor-Cal around January 1997.

(12*17=204) high-use tapes from LBL computer center

The 12 boxes (558160-558171) of HIGH-USE tapes were shipped to UC-DATA in January 1997.

A diskette with tlist.bynumber.txt and tlist.bynumber.xls was mailed on 12/18/97 but could not be used by Kofo Domingo. The files tlist.bynumber.txt and tlist.bynumber.95.xls were e-mailed but could not be used. All three files were mailed from LBL on 1/24/98. The resulting output files were returned to LBL on 2/18/98.
